Let’s Begin

Open a new 700x700 white layer

Paste Bates Motel image as a new layer

Paste frame6 as a new layer

Use deformation tool to expand frame to fit image

Close off background layer and merge visible

Recentre tag

Add the following drop shadow to frame

2 -2 40 5 Black

Paste ravens as a new layer

Resize to suit

Add a drop shadow

Paste vintage remnant1 as a new layer

Move to above background layer and to right

Duplicate and mirror

Add your main tube and position

Add a drop shadow

Paste streetlight2 as a new layer

Move to left side

Add a drop shadow

Make #d96228 background/fill colour

Using font Arial Rounded MT Bold on size 36

Type “VACANCY”

Convert to a new layer

Place into position

Use deformation tool to get angle correct

Duplicate this layer twice

On first layer

Adjust – Brightness/Contrast

Brightness 67contrast -9

Apply

Second layer

Leave as is

Third layer

Brightness 11; contrast 54

Apply

Add your name using Pristina and place into position

Add drop shadow

Resize your tag by 85%

All layers checked

Go back over layers and sharpen where necessary

Add your copyright details

Open Animation Shop (AS)

Close off layers 2 and 3 of Vacancy

Right click on tag and copy merge to AS

Paste as a new animation

In PSP, Close off layer 1 and open layer 2

Copy merge to AS

Paste after current frame

Repeat to bring layer 3 across

Open flame

Select all – copy

On tag

Select all – paste into selected frame

Position flame into streetlamp

Change frame properties to 15

Run your animation

Save your tag
