Let’s Begin

Open a new 700x700 white layer

Paste element79 (black frame) as a new layer

Resize 80%

Use magic wand to click inside frame to select

Selections – Modify – Expand x 5

Paste paper 12 as a new layer

Selections – invert

Hit delete on keyboard

Selections – select none

Move this layer below frame

Paste element1 (tree) as a new layer

Resize 80%

Paste element26 (pumpkins) as a new layer

Paste main tube as a new layer

Resize and move to left side

Add any other elements of choice

Go to background layer

Paste paper8 as a new layer

Layers – New Mask Layer – From image

In drop down box select MC-Mask116

Invert Mask Data – Unchecked

Apply

Layers – Merge Group

Add your name to the pumpkins

Add a drop shadow to your layers

Resize tag to suit all layers checked

Go over layers and sharpen where necessary

Add copyright details

Crop excess white

If you do not wish to animate

Merge all and save your tag

Continue for animation

Go to your tree layer

Using selection tool – freehand

Draw around your area like this and select

Open Animation Shop

Open fall leaves animation

It has 20 frames

We are now going to cull them

Select all

Animation – cull animation

This will bring you down to 10 frames

While still selected repeat cull

Now you have 5 frames

Still selected

File – Export Frames – To Paint Shop Pro

Go back to PSP

Your 5 frames will be there

Close off frames 2-5

Click on frame 1

Go to Material Properties and select pattern

In drop down box select the image number

Mine is image 9

Go back to tag and add a new raster layer

Flood fill this layer with the pattern

Rename leaf 1 if required

Go back to pattern and close off frame 1

Open frame 2

Again go to material properties and select image again

Do not select current pattern

Go back to tag and add a new raster layer

Flood fill this layer with the pattern

Now keep doing this till you have completed the 5 frames

On your tag – select none

Now close off your pattern

Where it says save changes click no

Would you like to update changes – click no

Close off leaves in AS – click no to save

In PSP

Close off leaves 2-5

Right click on tag – copy merge

Paste in AS as a new animation

In PSP close off leaves 1 open leaves 2

Right click on tag – copy merge

Paste into AS after current frame

Back in PSP close off leaves 2 open leaves 3

Repeat till you have leaves 4 and 5 across

Once across and running

Select all – change frame properties to 25

Run your animation

Save your tag
