Let’s Begin

Open a new 700x700 white layer

Resize elements as you go

Paste tombstone1 as a new layer

Move to left side

Paste cupcake as a new layer

Paste kitty2 as a new layer

Paste trick or treaters

Rename as pirate

Paste sign as a new layer

Rename as hat

Place over tombstone

Paste candle as a new layer

Rename as candle

Paste ghost lamp as a new layer

Rename as lamp

Paste boo as a new layer

Paste bat as a new layer

Position elements like mine or to suit yourself

Go to background layer

Paste paper5 as a new layer

Layers – New Mask Layer – From image

In drop down box select MC-Mask118

Invert Mask Data – Unchecked

Apply

Layers – Merge Group

Add your name

Add a drop shadow to your layers

Resize tag to suit all layers checked

Go over layers and sharpen where necessary

Add copyright details

Crop excess white

If you do not wish to animate

Merge all and save your tag

Continue for animation

Go to pirate layer

Use magic wand to click inside eyes, nose and mouth of pumpkin to select

Duplicate layer twice

On first layer

DSB Flux – Bright Noise

Intensity – 43; Mix

Apply

On second layer

Repeat plug in – hit mix button once

Apply

On third layer

Repeat as for 2^nd layer

Apply

Selections – select none

Go to hat layer

Use magic wand to click hat to select

Duplicate layer twice

Repeat DSB Flux – Bright Noise as for pirate

Selections – select none

Go to Candle layer

Use magic wand and click flame area to select

Duplicate layer twice

Repeat DSB Flux – Bright Noise as for pirate and hat

Selections – select none

Go to lamp layer

Use magic wand and click lamp area to select

Duplicate twice

On first layer

Adjust – Brightness and Contrast – Brightness and Contrast

Brightness – 44

Contrast – minus 50

Apply

On second layer

Adjust – Brightness and Contrast – Brightness and Contrast

Brightness – 24

Contrast – 43

Apply

On third layer

Do not apply filter

Selections – select none

Okay that’s everything set up

Open Animation Shop (AS)

In PSP close off layers 2 and 3 of pirate, hat, candle and lamp

Right click on tag – copy merge

Paste into AS as a new animation

In PSP close off layer 1 and open layer 2 of pirate, hat, candle and lamp

Right click on tag – copy merge

Paste into AS after current frame

Repeat to bring layer 3 across to AS

Run your animation

Save your tag
