Let’s Begin

Open a new 700x700 white layer

Paste e38 (green frame) as a new layer

Resize x 85%

Paste e40 (snowman frame) as a new layer

Resize x 80%

Working on this frame

Use magic wand to click inside to select

Selections – modify – expand by 4

Select a colour from your tubes

Add a new raster layer and flood fill

Move layer below frame

Effects – Plugin - Penta – Dots and Crosses

Apply using default settings

Add your main tube and place to right side

Using selection tool on freehand

Draw around head and shoulder area of tube

Copy and paste into frame and move below frame

Enlarge x 130%

Erase any overhang

Change blend mode to Luminance (L)

Paste e11 (string lights) as a new layer

Resize and place to top of frame

Move below main tube

Paste e22 (sign) as a new layer

Resize and position so it fits across frame

Paste e32 (red glitter) as a new layer

Place to top then move down to above background

Duplicate – Mirror and Flip

Adjust if necessary

Paste e19 (holly with ribbon) as a new layer

Place to left side then move down to above red glitter

Duplicate and Mirror

Add your name and position

Go over your layers and apply a drop shadow

Resize tag by 80%

All layers checked

Go over your layers and sharpen where necessary

Add your copyright details

Crop excess white

If you do not want to animate

Merge all – flatten

Save your tag

Continue for animation

Do not merge

Go to top lights layer

Rename top lights

Start with red light

**Use magic wand and click to select

You may have to do this a couple of times to get it all

Duplicate layer

Adjust – Brightness & Contrast – Brightness & Contrast

Brightness – 50

Hue – 20

Apply

Selections – select none**

Rename this layer red

Now go to next light – yellow

Repeat from ** to **

Rename this layer yellow

Repeat for brown light

Rename this layer brown

Go to bottom lights

Now do the same there

Keep lights in order like this

Open Animation Shop

Close off layers 2 and 3 of both sets of lights
ie: yellow and brown of top lights
brown and red of bottom lights

Right click on tag and copy merge

Paste into AS as a new animation

In PSP close off layer 1 and open layer 2 of lights

Right click on tag and copy merge

Paste into AS after current frame

Repeat to bring layer 3 across

Run your animation

Select all – animation – reverse frames

Change frame properties to 20

Save your tag
