Acting the Clown

Let’s Begin

This tut is for a more advanced PSPer

Of course you don’t have to animate the clown

Open a new 500x500 transparent layer

Paste clown1 as a new layer

Resize 80% x 2

Adjust – Sharpness - Sharpen

Using Selection tool on freehand

Draw around the 3 balls

Delete

Selections – select none

Copy merge and paste into AS

As a new animation

In PSP undo till balls reappear

Continue using the same procedure

Again delete top 2 as before

The remaining ball – cut

Paste as a new layer

Place ball in left hand

Copy merge

Paste into AS using CTRL+L

In PSP undo again till 3 balls appear

Delete top 2

Cut remaining ball

Paste as a new layer

Place up from hand to ½ way to where next ball would be

Copy merge

Paste into AS as before

In PSP Undo

Delete first 2 balls

Copy merge

Paste into AS as before

In PSP Undo

Delete first 2 balls

Copy merge

Paste into AS as before

In PSP

Select ball that is remaining

Cut

Paste as a new layer

Place ball into clowns right hand

Move it below hand

Copy merge and take to AS

Run your animation

Select all

Animation – reverse frames

Save animation

Now to start on tag

Open a new 700x700 white layer

Resize elements to suit as you go

Paste frame 05 as a new layer

Do not resize

Using selection tool on rectangle

Draw around frame to select

Paste a paper of choice

I used 04

Selections – Invert

Hit delete key

Selections – Select none

Move this layer below frame

On top of paper paste chain link

Next paste tickets

Paste drape and place over frame to right side

Paste bicycle as a new layer

Place to right side

Paste clown01 as a new layer

Place on bicycle

Duplicate clown

Now have one clown above bicycle

The other move below bicycle

Working on top clown

Erase the area to reveal the bike handles and wheel

This makes it look as though the clown in on bicycle

Add a drop shadow to bottom clown only

Add drop shadow to bicycle

Now merge these 3 layers together

Paste Flower01 as a new layer

Move to above background

Duplicate and working on original

Adjust – Blur – Motion Blur

Angle – 315

Strength – 100

Apply

Position clown02 (he will be removed)

Add any other elements of choice

Go over your layers and apply a drop shadow

I used 2, 2, 45, 5, black

Do not apply it to paper layer or clown on bicycle

Add your name to tag

Resize tag by 85%

All layers checked

Go over your layers and sharpen where necessary

Add your copyright details

Remove clown02

Merge all – flatten

Copy tag and paste into AS

Open the animated clown you made

Now duplicate tag to 6 frames to match

On clown – Select all - copy

On tag – select all – paste into selected frame

Place clown on left side and release

Run your animation

Change frame properties to 15-20

Crop excess white

Save your tag
